Effective Date: September 17, 2026

Amprasell (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/623468/07, of 8 Rhine Road, Seapoint, Cape Town, South Africa (“Amprasell”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Amprasell collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when a Customer and its employees use the Amprasell platform (the “Service”), and when a visitor uses our website. It applies to Customers and employees in South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and any other market in which Amprasell operates.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account and Registration Information

  • Company details provided by a Company Admin: company name, industry, logo, size, and billing contact.

  • Individual details: name, work email address, role, and password (stored using industry-standard hashing).

2.2 LinkedIn Data (via Official APIs)

  • Basic LinkedIn profile information needed to connect an account (name, profile identifier).

  • Engagement data for posts, comments, and shares made through Amprasell only — impressions, likes, comments, and shares on that content.

  • Self-reported connection count, where an employee chooses to provide it, used to estimate potential reach.

We never collect LinkedIn login credentials, and we never access LinkedIn data through scraping or any method outside LinkedIn’s official, authorised APIs.

2.3 Platform Activity Data

  • Tasks assigned and completed, points earned, badges achieved, leaderboard standing, and rewards redeemed.

  • Content library usage, including which posts an employee viewed or shared.

2.4 Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. Amprasell does not directly store full payment card numbers; the processor handles and secures that information under its own applicable compliance standards.

2.5 Website and Usage Data

Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, collected via cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 9.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including task assignment, scoring, leaderboards, and the Rewards Shop.

  • To generate AI-suggested comments and content angles, informed by content a user has written or saved within Amprasell, where permission has been given.

  • To produce analytics and reporting for Company Admins, including reach, engagement, and estimated earned media value.

  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.

  • To communicate with users about their account, including task reminders, badge notifications, and service updates.

  • To maintain the security and integrity of the Service, and to comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Depending on the user’s location, Amprasell relies on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract with the Customer; the Customer’s or user’s consent (for example, where an employee opts to share their self-reported network size, or permits content they have written in Amprasell to inform AI suggestions); Amprasell’s legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service; and compliance with a legal obligation.

For South African users, this Policy is intended to align with the requirements of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). For UK and EU users, it is intended to align with the UK GDPR and, where applicable, the EU GDPR. For US users, it is intended to have regard to applicable state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), where relevant. For UAE users, it is intended to have regard to applicable UAE data protection law.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the Service, such as hosting providers and our payment processor, under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.

  • LinkedIn, solely as necessary to perform actions the user has authorised (such as posting approved content) through LinkedIn’s official APIs.

  • Third-party integrations a Customer chooses to enable, such as Slack or HubSpot, only to the extent the Customer configures that integration.

  • Professional advisers, regulators, or law enforcement where required by law, or to protect Amprasell’s or others’ rights and safety.

  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy continuing to apply to the transferred information.

6. International Data Transfers

Amprasell operates across South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates. Personal information may be transferred between these regions in order to provide the Service. Where information is transferred from the UK or EU to a jurisdiction not recognised as providing an adequate level of protection, Amprasell will put in place an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as a UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or equivalent standard contractual clauses, before making the transfer.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as the Customer’s account remains active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. A Customer or employee may request earlier deletion as described in Section 8. When a user disconnects their LinkedIn account or revokes access, we delete the LinkedIn data associated with that account, subject to LinkedIn's API terms.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;

  • Request deletion of your personal information (“right to erasure”), which we will action across our systems on request, subject to any legal retention requirements;

  • Object to, or request that we restrict, certain processing;

  • Request a portable copy of your information;

  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@amprasell.com. South African data subjects may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator; UK/EU data subjects with their local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office); and US and UAE users with the relevant local authority where one exists.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website and Service use cookies and similar technologies to keep users logged in, remember preferences, and understand aggregate usage of the Service. Users can control cookie preferences through their browser settings; disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

10. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures, including encryption of data in transit and, where applicable, at rest, access controls, and OAuth-based authentication for LinkedIn connections, to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we encourage users to safeguard their own account credentials.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for business use by individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Information Officer (South Africa)

In accordance with POPIA, Amprasell has appointed an Information Officer responsible for compliance with this Policy and applicable data protection law. The Information Officer can be contacted at privacy@amprasell.com.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. The “Effective Date” above reflects the date this Policy was last updated.
